Akio TAKAI's school of Paper pattern for Edo-komon will open in this autumn

Akio TAKAI is a traditional engraver of paper pattern for Edo-komon, who will open his school for Paper pattern for Edo-komon in this autumn.

He was born in Mie Prefecture, Japan and he inherited traditional engraving of technique from his father. But at present the tradition has been faced with a crisis of disappearance. So he thought that now was the time to open school for inheritance. School will be open at Ome, Tokyo in this autumn.
